How can I get answers to question about a product?

Payment Information
Can I break up a purchase into payments?
In short, Yes. If you pay using ShopPay, you can break payments up into 4 equal bi-weekly payments.
Are your payment methods secure?
Our website uses 256bit encryption securing every payment processed.
Ordering Information
What are your lead times?
Each product has a different lead time. In general, most items will ship within 14 days giving us time to produce your item. The main exception to the 14 day turn around time are our gates. Our gate scan take up to 4 to 6 weeks,
What happens after placing a personalized order?
If the product you ordered is either custom or personalized you will receive a proof for your item for approval before production starts. Be sure to be on the lookout for this proof, making certain to check your spam folder.

What are your policies regarding shipping?

What is the largest package size you ship?
Due to the extreme costs of shipping, we try to keep out package sizes to 36" x 50" max. Packages with a larger footprint tend to get assessed overage fees making shipping costs very prohibitive. This mainly affects our pet gates.
How much will shipping cost?
Shipping costs are figured by size, weight, and distance. These costs are controlled by each individual carrier. We have no control of shipping costs and we make no money off of shipping.
Do you ship packages with insurance?
We utilize ShipInsure to allow customers the optional insurance coverage of packages shipped. It is the responsibility of the customer to make certain to purchase coverage during checkout. Crater Goods assumes no responsibility for packages shipped without shipping coverage.
What happens when shipment is damaged?
We utilize ShipInsure to process shipping coverage for packages shipped. If you purchased shipping coverage during checkout, you will be able to use ShipInsures claims portal to initiate a claim. If you didn't purchase insurance for your shipment, we regret that there is nothing we can do.
Returns Information
What is your returns policy?

What items are non-returnable?
We do not except returns on custom or personalized items.
How do I process a return?
We use a self service return framework provider. Our returns are handled via the membership dashboard. Log onto your account, navigate to your orders. You will be able to process a return there.
Who covers return shipping?
We are not a big conglomerate, nor can we absorb return shipping costs. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Why does the item I received look different than the item I remember ordering?
We reserve the right to change or alter any design without notice.
